Margaret Murphy writes internationally acclaimed psychological thrillers under her own name, and has completed two DS Rick Turner novels under the penname M.K. Murphy, the first of which was published September 2023. Her forensic thrillers are penned under the names Ashley Dyer (the DS Lake and DCI Carver books) and AD Garrett (the Prof. Fennimore and DCI Simms trilogy) . She is the founder of Murder Squad, a past Chair of the Crime Writers Association, a CWA Short Story Dagger, Red Herring, and HRF Keating award winner, and has also been shortlisted for the ‘First Blood’ critics’ award and Dagger in the Library.
